SPY's own gamma tool reported a put wall of 675 and max pain of 638 this morning — both worth catching rather than repeating. Pulling the raw per-strike data directly: every single strike from 639 through 764 — 125 points — reports either exactly zero or noise-level gamma (the biggest non-zero reading in that entire range is −$6.3M at 635). That's not a real put wall or a real max pain, that's a chain data gap. The reported 675 and 638 are artifacts of the tool picking something out of a dead zone, not actual dealer positioning, so neither number is used below.
The call side, by contrast, looks completely normal. 765 carries +$1,189.2M — the clear peak of the visible chain — which lines up as a legitimate call wall. The flip (764.01) sits right at the boundary where real data resumes, which is also consistent rather than suspicious. And spot (766.59) is trading above both — SPY has already cleared its flip and its call wall this morning, a genuinely bullish structural position on the one side of the chain that's actually readable today.
Practically: treat today as a call-side-only read. The flip and call wall are real and SPY is above both; anything claiming to know where downside support sits from the put wall or max pain should be treated as noise until the chain fills back in.
With no usable downside level, the honest read is: SPY is in positive-gamma, above-the-wall territory on the only part of the chain that's actually populated. That's constructive as far as it goes, but it also means there's no dealer-hedging floor to point to if the tape reverses — the put side simply isn't there to check today.

| Ticker | Spot | Flip | Call Wall | Status | Today's flow |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CRWV | 87.12 | 89.76 | 90 | BELOW FLIP | $77P and $78P, both 10/23, both bought within seconds of each other — $1,185,532 + $1,168,961 = $2,354,493 combined. The single largest print in this whole series. Both strikes sit below even the put wall (80), on a name already below its own flip. |
| MU | 1080.30 | 1091.67 | 1100 | BELOW FLIP | $830P 12/17/27 — $895,816, a LEAPS put more than a year out, struck well below both spot and the 1000 put wall. Large size, long horizon, bearish. |
| MSTR | 160.96 | 160.18 | 162.5 | IN ZONE | $200C 12/15/28 — $298,475, a LEAPS call over two years out, well past the call wall. MSTR is only 0.49% above its own flip today — a thin favorable read under a very long-dated bullish bet. |
| SPCX | 149.47 | 158.02 | 160 | BELOW FLIP | Three separate $200C 1/15/27 sweeps — $171,547 + $144,528 + $128,870 = $444,945 combined. Same strike, same expiry, repeated size, well past both the call wall and a flip that's still 5.7% away. |
| HPQ | 30.98 | — | 33 | NO FLIP | Three separate $32P 10/2 sweeps — $169,455 + $131,749 + $124,311 = $425,515 combined. Same strike, same near-term expiry, already in the money. No flip to check it against. |
| MSFT | 510.25 | 504.40 | 505 | PAST WALL | $500P 10/2 — $148,231, struck right at the put wall. A near-term bearish bet on a name that's already trading through its own call wall — a mixed structural picture, not a clean setup either way. |
| CVNA | 63.87 | — | 70 | NO FLIP | $71C 10/30 — $130,748 and $61C 10/30 — $112,180, two calls same expiry, different strikes — $242,928 combined, one already ITM, one past the call wall. Bullish, no flip to read it against. |
| SNDK | 1735.00 | 1848.02 | 1800 | BELOW FLIP | $1750C 10/2 — $122,100, struck just above spot, still well under both the call wall and a flip that's 6.5% away. |
