Market Gamma Heatmap

Not a price heatmap — a dealer-positioning heatmap. Every major name below is colored by where it sits relative to its own zero-gamma flip and call wall: green means dealers are damping moves, red means they've flipped to chasing them, gold means the name has run out of room above. Same math as the gamma map, applied to the whole tape at once.

the 60-second version

Why isn't this just a price heatmap?

Price tells you what happened. Gamma regime tells you what the market is likely to do next — a name that's green today can be one bad print away from flipping red, and that's invisible on a chart. Full explainer: what is GEX →

What does each color actually mean?

In zone (green): spot sits between the flip and the call wall — dealers are net long gamma and their hedging absorbs moves. Past wall (gold): spot has already run above the biggest positive-gamma strike nearby, so there's less mechanical resistance left. Below flip (red): spot has fallen under the zero-gamma cross — dealers are short gamma here and their hedging amplifies moves instead of damping them.

Is this a buy or sell signal?

No — it describes how a name is likely to behave, not which direction to take. Click any tile for that ticker's full gamma map, with the exact flip, walls and max pain.
