IBM cratered ~25% on a profit warning (soft software & infrastructure demand) and this morning it's trying to make its first stand — +1.7% on 5.7× relative volume, the heaviest participation on the board, and firing above VWAP. That much rel-vol on a bounce is a two-sided fight, not a bottom. Per yesterday's brief, this is the "base and hold, not the first green candle" name — a dead-cat bounce and a real reversal look identical for the first hour.

  Watch: whether it holds the reclaim and builds a base vs. fading the pop back into the gap.

  The board's lone red name — the Korean memory giant that just debuted on Nasdaq (+13% first day) is giving back −6.2%. It's an AI-memory / HBM name, so it's the flip side of the semi-leadership trade: hot new supply-chain listing cooling off after the debut pop. Note the rel-vol is only ~1× and it's not firing — the fade is on put flow, not unusual share participation, so it's a give-back to respect, not yet a confirmed breakdown.

  Watch: does the debut-unwind find a floor, or does it lose the post-IPO range on a hot PPI.

  The banks that reported into Tuesday's profit bonanza are still quietly bid — C +0.9% (1.8× rel-vol), WFC +0.4% and firing.
